Eye surgery

My surgical activity has gradually developed and specialized to the point of having to be resructured.

In order to give more space to my favorite activity, oculoplastic surgery, eyelid and orbit surgery, I had to make up my mind not to provide conventional ophthalmic screening and follow-up, and not to longer operate on "cataract", the most common ophthalmological surgery.

Refractive surgery is destined to reduce the dependence on spectacles or contact lenses.

Laser treatment for myopia is carried out under local anaesthetic (the eye is numbed with drops), in an outpatient clinic (no hospitalisation). Over the last few years, laser treatment has greatly improved. Treatment of both eyes only takes a few seconds and is almost always done the same day.

Damage to the surface of the eye is frequent.

Simple cysts and degenerative injury, benign tumours, but also inflammation causing the eyelid to stick to the eye, and pre-tumour or tumour lesions... The treatment of these annoying, doubtful or unsightly lesions generally begins with a surgical excision. Sometimes, a more complex operation, including a graft taken from the same eye, or the other eye or even the mouth may prove to be necessary.
